If you are a proud owner of the best Apple smartphone: iPhone 4S, you will be happy to know how to jailbreak it. So here are our short jailbreaking instructions which will guide you through the step by step process fro jailbreaking your device. Please be sure to backup you device completely. AS always it is pretty safe to jailbreak your device, but it is always good to take measure just in case something goes wrong. Some users have reported issues with loosing photos in Your Camera Roll after jailbreaking with Absinthe.
Step by step instructions:
1. Download Absinthe jailbreak for Windows here.
2. Click twice on the downloaded file. This will extract the file and start the jailbreak software.
3. When it asks, plug your iPhone 4S into the USB port on your PC.
4. Point your mouse to the Jailbreak button to start the process.
5. Absinthe will now guide you with a couple of necessary steps (Sending data, rebooting, wait for booting, preparing jailbreak and sending pay-load data).
6. A pop up message will inform you that the jailbreak process is almost done.
7. Find the Absinthe icon on your iPhone 4S screen and tap it to finish the jailbreak.
8. If you get an Error notification, tap on the Settings app and fire up the VPN. You will see another configuration error message appearing, but do not despair. After a few minutes your iPhone 4S will restart and you will now have Cydia installed on it! Everything should work afterwards. You can now enjoy in your jailbroken iPhone 4S or iPad 2!
